PRIVACY POLICY
Pulse Health Care Services (the “PLATFORM”) owned and operated by RD Services Limited is committed to respect your data privacy and provide transparency about it data practices. This Privacy Policy explains how the PLATFORM collects, stores, uses, transfers and discloses the data shared by you or generated from your use on the PLATFORM.
By using PLATFORM and accepting the Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, you must not use the PLATFORM.
1. Information we collect.

1.3 Transactional information based on your activities on the sites along with billing and other information you provide on the platform.
1.4 Any personal information you provide to us or over the site through correspondence, chats, for dispute resolution, or shared by you from other social websites, services and/or applications;
1.5 Additional information (personal or otherwise) that you may be asked to provide as and when necessary;
1.6 Information from your interaction with our site, services, content and advertising, including but not limited to device ID, device type including the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers and mobile network information, location, geo-location information, computer and connection information, statistics on page views, traffic to and from the sites, ad data, IP address, information collected by cookies and other tracking technologies and standard web log information.
1.7 Non-identifying, general or generic information and aggregate such information to improve the design of the platform and services.
1.8 Non-personal information based on your usage of the Platform, i.e. when you use the platform, third-party service providers, e.g. Google Analytics and other partners may receive and record non-personal information from cookies, server logs, and similar technology from your browser or mobile device, including your IP address.
Please note that the PLATFORM may combine the collected Non-Personal Information with the Personal Information. Where we do so, we will treat the combined information as Personal Information if the resulting combination may be used to readily identify or locate you in the same manner as Personal Information alone.
2. How we store your information. We use hosting provider Google Cloud Platform therefore your information may be transferred to and stored on servers in various locations both in and outside of Bangladesh. The Platform maintains control of your information. We protect your information using technical and administrative security measures to reduce the risks of loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure and alteration. Some of the safeguards we use are firewalls and data encryption, physical access controls to our data centres, and information access authorization controls.
3. How do we use your information.
3.1 The collected data enables the users and the Registered Practitioners to conduct Consultations and to enable content-related functions of the Site.
3.2 The Platform does not share any of your personally identifiable or transactional information with any person or entity, other than as set out in this policy. No third party receives your personally identifiable information or other transactional data except for approximate location / geo-location information and those with whom you have transactions and share that information with. The information we collect shall be used to improve the design and content of the platform, used to notify users about updates to our site and for other communication purposes.
3.3 Email Communications: We may send you a welcome email to verify your account and other transactional emails for operational purposes, such as billing, account management, or system maintenance. You may only stop receiving those emails by terminating your account. We may also send you promotions, announcements, surveys, newsletters, developer updates, evaluations, and event information or other marketing or commercial e-mails. You can opt out of receiving these email communications from the platform at any time by unsubscribing, using the unsubscribe button within each email, updating your e-mail preferences on your account with the platform or emailing info@pulseservicesbd.com to have your contact information removed from our email list or registration database. Notwithstanding anything contained anywhere in this Privacy Policy or the Terms & Condition, the Platform shall not be responsible for any breach of privacy due to correspondence going to an incorrect address or phone number.
3.3 SMS communications: We may send you SMS messages to your secure phone number for operational purposes.
3.4 Marketing: You agree that we may use your personal information to inform you about our services and tools, deliver targeted marketing and promotional offers based on your communication preferences, and customize measure and improve our advertising. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe button contained in the email.
3.5 We do not rent, sell, or share your Personally Identifiable Information with third parties or non- affiliated entities for any marketing purposes without your permission. We may use and share Non-Personally Identifiable Information for our marketing purposes, including, without limitation to marketing on other websites, e.g. use the information to control the number of times you have seen an ad, deliver ads tailored to your interests, and measure the effectiveness of ad campaigns. You can prevent us from tailoring our ads to you on other websites by deleting your cookies.
4. Sharing Information.
4.1 We disclose personal information if we are under a duty to comply with legal requirements, enforce our policies, respond to claims that a listing or other content violates the rights of the Platform or others, or protect anyone's rights, property, or safety. Such information shall be disclosed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. As stated above, we do not disclose your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
4.2 We may disclose personal information to our affiliates and/or third party suppliers and service providers located overseas for some of the purposes listed above. We take reasonable steps to ensure that the recipients of your personal information do not breach the privacy obligations relating to your personal information.
4.3 We may disclose your personal information for the purpose of business transition; at the sale or transfer of ownership of The Platform and/or all or part of its assets, your personal information may be among the items sold or transferred.
4.4 We may aggregate personal and other data captured through the Platform so that the data is no longer capable of identifying any individual. The platform uses industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving consumer and transaction data exchanged with our site. We may share aggregate data with advertisers and other third parties for the purposes of improving and enhancing the Platform’s services, developing and selling data and information to third parties, generating and commercializing insights and otherwise for the purposes of our business.
4.5 You may opt to integrate the Platform with other health app database. If you grant the Platform access to any other health app database, the Platform Pulse may transfer data that you store locally on your device to the health app. The Platform cannot integrate with any other health app database unless you grant access. Data accessed from the health app database shall not be shared with third party service providers and/or advertisers, without your permission. The Platform is in no way responsible for the protection of your Personal Data that is stored within any other health app. You and the any other health app database respectively are solely responsible for the protection of such information in the other health app database. Please review the respective the health app’s applicable policies and procedures before syncing and backing up your Personal Data and/or other information with the other health app database.
4.6 PUBLIC INFORMATION: Any reviews, personal information or comments that you voluntarily post or disclose on public pages (for instance, the questions and answers page) of the Platform will be viewable by the general public. Any comment or other content you post or disclose on such public pages becomes published content including your account and user name and shall not be subjected to the provisions of this Privacy Policy. You shall be deemed to have waived the right to privacy and confidentiality over such information by posting or making such disclosure. The information and data that you submit, publish or disclose on the Platform may be viewed by other service providers, such as doctors or operations and maintenance team repairing and maintaining our technical systems. The Platform does not have Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality Agreements with these parties who may be able to access such information.
5. Cookies
5.1 Cookies are pieces of data assigned by a web server that uniquely identify the browser on your device. The Platform uses cookies to enable the site to remember you on your subsequent visits, speeding up or enhancing your experience of services or functions offered. Cookies also enable our systems to gather information about your navigational patterns through the site. You have the option to disable cookies at any time through your browsers. We may also store your website activity in cookies which may be used by third party vendors, including Google, to serve ads based on your behavior on our website.
5.2 Third party vendors may receive and record non-personal information from cookies, server logs, and similar technology from your browser or mobile device, including your IP address. You may opt out of Google's use of cookies by visiting the Google advertising opt-out page
5.3 If you access our Services with your login credentials from a social networking site or if you otherwise agree to associate your Platform’ account with a social networking account, we may receive personal information about you from such social networking site, in accordance with the terms of use and privacy policy of that specified social networking site in order to help us establish your account, tailor services to you and find other current or potential site users that you know. We may add this information to the information we have already collected from you via other aspects of the Site. You are also subject to the social networking site's terms of use and privacy policy. We use the OAuth (open authorization) protocol to enable us to access this information without collecting your password when you agree allow another application to access your account information.
6. PULSE HEALTHCARE SERVICES BOT – CARDEA (if/when implemented). Our Platform’s bot - Cardea, is enabled by the Microsoft Bot Framework. The Microsoft Bot Framework is a set of web-services that enable intelligent services and connections using conversation channels you authorize. As a service provider, Microsoft will transmit content you provide to our bot / service in order to enable the service. In addition, your interactions with this bot / service are also subject to the conversational channel's applicable terms of use, privacy and data collection policies. To report abuse when using a bot that uses the Microsoft Bot Framework to Microsoft, please visit the Microsoft Bot Framework website at https://www.botframework.com and use the "Report Abuse" link in the menu to contact Microsoft. Pulse Healthcare Services shall not be liable for any breach of privacy or confidentiality of information by Microsoft.
7. THIRD PARTY ANALYTICS. We use third party analytics services to collect information for system administration, to create reports, and to improve the Pulse Healthcare Services websites. We use Google Analytics to analyze the activities of visitors to our site. Google's use of cookies and other tracking technologies enable it to have access to information about visitors to the Pulse Healthcare Services websites. Please click here to review Google’s privacy policy. In addition, we may use Kissmetrics to analyze the activities of visitors to the Platform. We use this service in order to understand how visitors are interacting with the Platform. By accessing the Platform, certain personal information may be transferred to Kissmetrics. 8. RETENTION OF DATA.
8.1 Your personal data will be retained as long as your account is active, needed to provide you services, and for a period of five (5) years after your account is closed or terminated or for a period of five (5) years after you last logged into your account (whichever is later).
8.2 We may retain certain Personal Data and other information after your account has been terminated but in an aggregated and anonymized form. Any posts or comments you submit may remain visible if and after you delete your account. We are not obligated to remove your posts or comments. We reserve the right to use your information in any aggregated data collection after you have terminated your account, however we will ensure that the use of such information will not identify you personally. We will also retain your Personal Data as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
8.3 If you remove data from your account, you will no longer see it in the App, but some backup of the data may remain in our archive servers for a reasonable period of time due to technical solutions we use. However, we undertake to delete any such backups within a reasonable period of time.
8.4 If you choose to delete the App, deactivate your account, we retain your Personal data for as long as your account is active and a reasonable period thereafter in case you decide to re-activate the Services. We also retain some of your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, to enforce our agreements, to support business operations, and to continue to develop and improve our Services. Where we retain information for Service improvement and development, we take steps to eliminate information that directly identifies you, and we only use the information to uncover collective insights about the use of our Services, not to specifically analyze personal characteristics about you.
9. Accessing and updating your Information.
9.1 You can update your information through your account profile settings. If you believe that personal information we hold about you is incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate, you may request us to amend it accordingly
9.2 You may request access to any personal information we hold about you at any time by contacting us at info@pulseservicesbd.com. Where we hold information that you are entitled to access, we will try to provide you with the means of accessing it. You may be charged a fee to cover the administrative and other associated costs in providing the information. We will not charge for simply making the request and will not charge for making any amendment/corrections to your personal information. Please note that there may be instances where access to the personal information may not be granted, for e.g. we may need to refuse access if it would potentially interfere with the privacy of others or result in a breach of confidentiality. We may provide written reasons for any refusal upon request.
10. Changes to our privacy policy. We reserve the right to and may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any material changes, we will notify you by email (sent to the email address specified when you register), through the Platform, or by presenting you with a new version of this Privacy Policy for you to accept, if we, for example, add new processing activities or collect some additional Personal Data from you. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of an updated version of the Privacy Policy will indicate your acceptance of the Privacy Policy as modified. In some cases, you will have to explicitly accept changes to Privacy Policy to continue using the App. We encourage you to periodically review our Platform for the latest information on our data privacy practices. If you do not accept the terms of the Privacy Policy, we ask that you do not use the Platform. Please exit the Platform immediately if you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
